French Feast
Slow Food Noosa Film with Food for GourMay Mary Valley 2024
Thursday 16 May 2024 @ Kandanga Public Hall
As part of the GourMay Mary Valley Festival 2024, Slow Food Noosa presents a fantastic evening of delicious food and heart-warming entertainment.
Creating an immersive dining experience and bringing the local people together over local food, Slow Food Noosa’s Film with Food Night presents ‘The Hundred Foot Journey’.
A comedy-drama set in the south of France, the film is produced by Steven Spielberg and Oprah Winfrey, and stars Helen Mirren. It is the story of an Indian family who move to France and set up their own restaurant opposite an established haute cuisine restaurant in the village. An intense professional rivalry breaks out between the two restaurateurs…
Slow Food Members Lady Penelope of Green Bowl Edifice, and Lyn Pointer of Posh Pies and Charcuterie have put together a scrumptious French-inspired menu (below). Please ensure you let us know if you have any dietary requirements not already catered for in this menu.
This event is fully licensed with all bar proceeds going back to Kandanga Public Hall. We look forward to welcoming you to fun, food-filled night of film to celebrate all things GourMay.
